Buddy Verdict
GTA 6 is rated PEGI 18.
Verdict
Status: Unknown
Unknown. The console stores show PEGI 18, but PEGI has not published a rating and PlayStation calls the ratings unconfirmed.
Why “Unknown”
PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store listings in the UK and Europe display PEGI 18 with an in-game purchases notice. A store display is not a rating decision: PEGI’s own database had no entry for GTA VI when we checked it, PlayStation’s GTA VI page says the age ratings are unconfirmed, and in Germany the USK rating is listed as pending. GTA BOOM reports that a detailed PEGI content summary appeared on PEGI’s site on 2 October 2026 and was removed soon after; a removed page is not a published rating. Since the afternoon of 10 October 2026, PEGI’s search shows an error page for every visitor, so we will check it again when it is back.
