Buddy Verdict
GTA 6 has a first-person mode.
Verdict
Status: Unknown
Unknown. Rockstar has not said whether GTA VI has a first-person mode. The footage said to show one is reported to come from a leaked development build.
Why “Unknown”
None of the Rockstar, PlayStation or Microsoft pages we check mention a first-person mode. Leaked or datamined material is never evidence for us, because a development build can differ from the game that ships.
Evidence
No source currently settles this claim. That’s why the verdict is Unknown.
What would change this verdict
Rockstar confirming or ruling out a first-person mode, or our own test of the game after 19 November 2026.
